Ingredients in Sweet Italian Chicken
- brown sugar
- Italian dressing
- chicken breasts
How to make Sweet Italian Chicken
Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels. In a small bowl combine the Italian Dressing and the brown sugar. Mix well.
Place chicken breasts in a large resealable bag. Pour dressing mixture in to the bag with the chicken breasts. Adjust chicken breasts until they are totally coated and remove as much air from the bag as possible. Place in your refrigerator to marinade for a few hours or overnight.
When you are ready to bake your chicken preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking pan with tinfoil and cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in your prepared pan. Discard extra marinade with the bag.
Place chicken in your oven. Bake for 40-50 minutes, depending on the size of your chicken breasts. Sometimes I flip the chicken over once or twice while it is in the oven or I baste it with the juices in the pan. Most often I just leave it for 45 minutes and broil it for a minute or two right before removing it to serve. Once you see some dark spots it is time to remove it from the oven and serve! Enjoy!
