We eat a lot of chicken in our house and I am always trying to come up with new ways to make it.  This Crunchy Caesar Chicken is what I like to call fast and fabulous!  Minimal preparation time and the taste is absolutely amazing!

    Baked Caesar Chicken

This crunchy crispy chicken dish was inspired by my other chicken recipe with a crispy coating on this site and pairs well with this amazing sweet and sour green beans.

Why You Will Love This Recipe

    • It only takes a handful of ingredients to make this crispy caesar chicken.
    • It's quick and easy, and it's so full of flavor.
    • Everyone loves the delicious crispy coating.

    Ingredients

You'll only need a few simple ingredients to make this recipe, and you'll find them all easily at your local grocery store. The highlights are here, but you'll find the complete list along with amounts in the recipe card at the end of the post.

All the ingredients needed to make this crunchy crispy chicken.
    • Chicken Breasts, Boneless, Skinless - Use chicken thighs instead and reduce cook time by ten minutes.
    • Creamy Caesar Salad Dressing - Your favorite salad dressing can be used for this recipe and all will work. Try ranch, French, Italian, and Russian.
    • Parmesan Cheese - Use grated romano, mozzarella, white cheddar, asiago or no cheese instead, simply add more potato chips and crispy fried onions.
    • Plain Potato Chips and Crispy Fried Onions - Use a combination of each or substitute your favorite potato chip flavor, panko breadcrumbs, breadcrumbs, stuffing mix, your favorite croutons, cornflakes or Chex cereal, pretzels or crackers.
    • Cooking Spray - Use butter or your favorite vegetable oil to grease baking sheet.

See the recipe card below for the exact quantities of each ingredient.

    Substitutions and Variations

    • Spicy - add a teaspoon of chili pepper flakes, jalapeno powder, smoked jalapeno powder, or chipotle powder to the salad dressing to imbue heat into the chicken. I will also occasionally add a teaspoon of our homemade hot pepper sauce, or use your favorite hot sauce, and add it to salad dressing. Adjust flavor before marinating your chicken.

    Instructions

Making this caesar chicken recipe is a snap. After marinating the chicken, you'll only need a few steps and a few minutes to make it!

What dressings can I use for this recipe?

Almost any salad dressing can be used for this recipe like ranch, French, Italian, and Russian.
