Hello and welcome! I am Karin and together with my partner in life, Ken, we are the Kitchen Divas!
Since the day we met, we have been attached at the heart and hip. How is that for togetherness? And to keep things interesting, we love creating new dishes. Variety is definitely the spice of life!
After years of experimenting, we have been able to come up with some fabulous home-cooked meals and delicious desserts. We finally organized our tried-and-true recipes, and we are eager to share them with you!

We are passionate about food, while taking the stress out of the kitchen and making life as simple as possible. Our recipes are carefully chosen with a focus on creating incredible dishes you will want to make time and time again.

My grandmothers were exceptional cooks, and although I'm self-taught, their influence inspired me to become the cook and baker that I am today. They are the original Kitchen Divas, and so this website is, in part, dedicated to them.
These hand-picked, easy-to-follow recipes are all about quality, home-cooked meals that save you time.
Our Process
We have adapted our recipes from magazines, newspapers and books that have a history spanning over 40 years. And we do our best to list the originating sources wherever possible.
Many of these easy-to-follow recipes have been modernized and simplified, and we have organized our most popular recipes into four categories:

Recipes on this site are designed to produce great results, while at the same time, encouraging you to add your own unique twists and tweaks. For obvious reasons, we only include our successes, because we want you to succeed. That is why you can trust that Kitchen Divas' recipes really do work.
As we continue to experiment and come up with new recipe ideas, we want to share the very best ones with you, and so we post them as quickly as possible.
About the Kitchen Divas
I am the main mess maker, baker, photographer and writer. Ken does the barbecuing and cooks all of the shellfish (I am deathly allergic!). Together we make one awesome team!
Although I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and I am now in a wheelchair, I do not let it define or prevent me from doing what I love to do most: Creating in the kitchen! Some days are better than others, but overall, life is still pretty amazing, and I try and savor every moment!

Even though Ken and I have no formal training, we have always had a fascination (some might even say obsession) with food. Experimenting with recipes is what we do.
We live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where there is an abundance of great restaurants. However, more often than not, we prefer staying home, cooking and eating with family and friends.
All the recipes have been fully-tested and approved by our family and friends. Trustworthy and honest to a fault, we know we can rely on them to give us their full and honest opinion.

Kitchen Divas is our way of sharing our favorite, easy recipes with busy people around the world, encouraging them to cook from scratch.
These recipes contain mainly whole food ingredients, but occasionally for the sake of convenience, a few things are from cans or prepared foods.
For the most part, we create wholesome dishes made from scratch and use fresh dairy products like butter, cream, eggs and cheese. Lots of vegetables, fish, various meat protein and alternatives like beans, nuts and soy are all on the menu.
Taking the time to plan and prepare our recipes is worth it and the rewards endless!
Whether you are new to the kitchen or just looking to expand your scope of recipes, you have come to the right place. Take it from me, you do not need to be a trained chef or know any fancy cooking terms to learn and enjoy making fabulous meals and desserts!
