I am a huge fan of all peanut butter treats and these Reese’s Oreos are at the top of my favorite list. They are easy to make and super cute. Not only do they make an indulgent snack but they are wonderful to serve at a party or give out as a thoughtful gift.

Oreos and peanut butter are such a great combination. The Reese’s peanut butter cups add rich milk chocolate flavor and smooth peanut butter in the center of the cookie.
As a fair warning, Reese’s peanut butter cups with Oreo are highly addictive! I love the melted semi-sweet chocolate because it keeps it from becoming too sweet. Drizzle the top with melted peanut butter chips for presentation and you have a real crowd-pleaser.

Why You’ll Love This Reese’s Oreo Recipe
- Just 5 ingredients: All you need are 5 ingredients to make this tasty peanut butter treat.
- Budget-friendly: This is the perfect recipe to make when on a tight budget.
- Ready in 20 minutes: It only takes 20 minutes to prepare these cookies and then they are ready to eat.
Ingredients
Below is everything you need to make this stuffed Oreo recipe. They are easy-to-find ingredients that won’t break the bank. It’s also easy to have the components on hand ahead of time since none of them need to be refrigerated.

- Oreo cookies: Use any brand of chocolate sandwich cookies that you like.
- Reese’s peanut butter cups: To make this recipe the best tasting, I highly recommend that you pick up real Reese’s brand peanut butter cups. They’re the best!
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips: You will use the melted chocolate chips for dipping the cookies and for drizzling on top. I like semi-sweet because it isn’t overly sweet. Dark chocolate would be great, too.
- Coconut oil: This is going to make the melted chocolate smooth and shiny. It also helps with coating the Oreos. I don’t taste coconut when I use it.
- Peanut butter chips: Melted peanut butter chips for a second drizzle on the finished Oreo Reese’s cookies. It will harden slightly making it easier to eat instead of using real peanut butter which will be messy.
See the recipe card below for exact ingredient amounts, nutritional information, and detailed instructions.
Variations
- White Chocolate Reeses’s Oreos: Swap the semi-sweet chocolate chips for white chocolate chips for a rich treat.
- Ultimate Peanut Butter Oreos: Use peanut butter Oreos instead of the original for even more peanut butter flavor.
- Pretzel Reese’s Oreos: Garnish the dipped peanut butter cup Oreos with crushed pretzels instead of the peanut butter and chocolate drizzle.
How to Make Reese’s Oreos
Set yourself up for success by measuring all of the ingredients and unwrapping the Reese’s cups. Also, don’t forget to line a baking sheet with parchment. That way, you don’t have to stop once you get started!

Step 1: Open and stuff the Oreos. Twist open all of the Oreo cookies. Place a peanut butter cup in the center of the halves and put it all back together.

Step 2: Melt the chocolate and coconut oil. In a microwave-safe bowl, add 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Heat them in 30-second intervals until fully melted and smooth.

Step 3: Dip the Reese’s cookies. Place a stuffed cookie on a fork and gently dip it into the melted chocolate. Gently tap it on the edge of the bowl to help the excess chocolate drip off. Repeat this process for the rest of the Oreos.

Step 4: Let them set. Place all of the dipped Oreos onto the line baking sheet. Allow them to set until the chocolate hardens. It should only take about 10 minutes at the most.

Step 5: Melt peanut butter chips chocolate for drizzle. Next, melt the remaining chocolate chips and oil as well as the peanut butter chips Add each one to a piping bag and drizzle it over the top of the Oreos. Give them a few extra minutes to set so the drizzle hardens as well. Serve and enjoy!
Hint: Be extra gentle when dipping the Oreos into the melted chocolate. There is a small chance that they may fall apart before they set.
