Ingredients
You only need just 4 simple ingredients to make these delicious dipped Oreos!

- Oreos: Stick to the original Oreos here for the perfect balance of chocolate and peanut butter flavor.
- Peanut butter chips: I love using Reese’s peanut butter chips, but you can use any brand you’d like.
- White chocolate chips: Adds sweetness and richness. You can also use almond bark if you prefer.
- Reese’s pieces: You’ll need just a few of these to crush and sprinkle on top of the dipped Oreo cookies.
See the recipe card below for exact ingredient amounts, nutritional information, and detailed instructions.
Substitutions and Variations
- Extra nutty: Bring some more of that nutty peanut butter flavor by removing the cream from the center of the Oreos and spreading some crunchy peanut butter there instead!
- Chocolate love: Swap the white chocolate chips in the recipe for milk chocolate chips for a deeper chocolate flavor.
- Cookie swap: Try using a different variety of sandwich cookie instead of traditional chocolate with creme filling to change up the flavor.
- Gluten-free: Use gluten-free sandwich cookies instead of Oreos to make this recipe gluten-free.
How to Make Oreos Dipped in Peanut Butter
Making these peanut butter dipped Oreos is incredibly easy. Simply line a baking sheet with some parchment paper and that’s it! You won’t even need to turn on the oven for this one!

Step 1: Combine and melt the chips. Add the peanut butter chips and white chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until melted, stirring every 30 seconds.

Step 2: Dip the Oreos. Carefully dip the Oreo cookies one by one into the melted peanut butter and white chocolate mixture.

Step 3: Top and chill. Top each Oreo with the crushed Reese’s pieces before the coating starts to set. Transfer to the freezer for an hour.

Step 4: Enjoy. Remove the Oreos from the freezer and serve.
⭐ Hint: Let the excess peanut butter-chocolate coating drip off from the Oreos before you place them on the baking sheet. This will keep the mixture from creating a “pool” around the cookies.

Storage Directions
- Storing: Got some leftover peanut butter covered cookies? Transfer them to a clean airtight container and store them in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. They should keep for 3-5 days.
- Refrigeration: Refrigerating and freezing these cookies can cause condensation, which can eventually melt the chocolate and peanut butter coating. I don’t recommend it.
Serving Suggestions
I love making these peanut butter dipped Oreos whenever I’m hosting a little get-together at home.
They’re perfect for pairing with snacks and appetizers like Ritz Cracker Sandwiches, Air Fried Jalapeno Poppers and Deviled Eggs.
You can also serve them on a platter with other bite-sized sweet treats like Cream Cheese Stuffed Cupcakes or the Classic Chocolate Chip Brownies.

Expert Tips
- Go topping crazy: Experiment with different toppings like mini marshmallows, chopped peanuts, sprinkles and even just a drizzle of melted dark chocolate.
- Use a fork: The best way to get the Oreos out once they’re completely covered in the melted chocolate mixture is to use a fork. This will allow the excess melted chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
- Add a bit of oil: To get a perfectly smooth coating on the Oreos, add a teaspoon of any neutral-flavored cooking oil of your choice into the peanut butter and chocolate mixture.
- Move quickly: Speed is key to covering all the Oreos and getting the toppings on. Make sure you have everything ready before you start for a smoother process.
