This copycat Starbucks Oreo Frappuccino is a refreshing treat to enjoy all year round inside your own home. All you need is a blender and a few ingredients to create the most amazing homemade frappuccino drink.

Creamy vanilla bean ice cream and chocolatey Oreo cookies with an optional shot of espresso make this Oreo frappucino recipe absolutely irresistible! I can't wait to hear what you think. This drink is delicious!

Glass of Oreo Frappuccino on the table. The Frappuccino is topped with whipped cream, crushed Oreos and chocolate sauce.

My husband and I completely love this recipe from Starbucks secret menu and enjoy it way too often! Occasionally including an ounce of alcohol or a liqueur to add a little kick.

Check our Substitutions or Variations section below to see all of the options we have tried. If you come up with any yourself please let me know. I always love trying new drinks!

This Oreo frappuccino recipe was inspired by my easy Dalgona cloud coffee on this site. It pairs well with this peach coffee cake and this pumpkin spice coffee cake. This rhubarb coffee cake goes with it as well. It's quite tasty.

    Ingredients

This cookies and cream frappuccino recipe uses common ingredients that are available after a short trip to your local grocery store if you don't have them on hand already.

    • ice cubes
    • heavy cream (you can also use half & half or milk)
    • vanilla bean ice cream (Breyers, Haagen Daz, or your favorite brand)
    • mini chocolate chips
    • Oreo cookies
    • espresso, optional

    Garnish

    • whipped cream
    • more crushed Oreos
    • chocolate sauce

See the recipe card below for the exact quantities of each ingredient.

How to Make Oreo Frappuccino Recipe

Make your own copycat Starbucks cookies and cream frappuccino in just three easy steps!

    Step 1: Blend

In a high-speed blender, blend the ice, ice cream, and heavy cream until smooth.

Step 2: Add Chips and Cookies

Next add the mini chocolate chips, Oreos, and the espresso, if using. Blend until smooth and creamy.

    Step 3: Garnish

Garnish with whipped cream, crushed Oreos, and chocolate sauce if desired! Serve immediately and enjoy!

Hint: If interested, add half a teaspoon of xanthan or xanthan gum to your frappuccino to stop the ice, coffee, and ice cream from separating. I prefer just to give my Oreo frappe an occasional stir while drinking.
