Ingredients
You only need a few ingredients to make this easy recipe.
- Ritz Crackers - Use your favorite cracker as long as it's sturdy enough to hold the filling.
- Deli Ham - Use honey ham, black forest ham, rost beef, bacon, turkey, leftovers or your your favorite deli meat.
- Cheese Slices - I used small squares of thinly sliced Colby but cheddar, Swiss cheese, mozzarella, provolone, Monterey Jack, havarti, brie, gouda or your favorite will work.
- Butter - Butter provides a rich, savory taste and helps bind the toppings to the crackers.
- Honey Mustard - Use dijon mustard or yellow mustard instead with a little honey or sweetener. Taste your mixture before using to see if any is needed.
- Poppy Seeds - Use sesame seeds instead.

Place one layer of Ritz Crackers on the baking sheet. (I made 4 rows of 6.)
Place ½ slice of ham on each cracker. You will have to fold them.
Place one slice of cheese on each sandwich. Place another cracker on top to complete the sandwich.
In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and honey mustard together. Brush mixture on each sandwich.
Sprinkle poppyseeds on top of sandwiches. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crackers are golden brown.
Hint: Keep an eye on sandwiches to avoid over-baking. You want to avoid cracker burning while allowing the ingredients to melt nicely together.
