Air Fryer Ham and Cheese Sliders are easy little sandwiches that will knock your socks off! They are crunchy because of course we're using the air fryer, and they're gooey because of the cheese in the middle. These sandwiches make the perfect handheld lunch or snack.
All right, now that I have your attention, let's get serious here for a minute: I'm going to give you all the steps you'll need to make these. No matter if you make these tiny sandwiches for a party or for dinner your family is going to love them.

How to reheat ham and cheese sliders
You have options when it comes to reheating your sliders. You can reheat them in the microwave, in the air fryer or in your toaster oven.
To reheat ham and cheese sliders in the microwave, place the slider rolls (or buns) on a plate and place it in the microwave until warmed through - turning once if needed. To crisp them up, brush with butter as they're heating or toast under the broiler briefly before serving.
Alternatively, you can use an air fryer to reheat your sliders. Reheat entire sandwiches for about 5 minutes at 350 F degrees until heated through. Turning them over halfway through cooking time may be required depending on how evenly the heat is distributed inside your air fryer. If desired, garnish warm sandwiches with fresh parsley.
To reheat your sliders in your oven , preheat the oven to 375 F degrees. Brush the slider rolls (or buns) lightly with some melted butter or olive oil and place them in a warm oven until warmed through, about 5 - 10 minutes, turning once during baking time if needed.
How to freeze ham and cheese sliders
You have two options when it comes to freezing your sliders. You can wrap all the extra sandwiches tightly in plastic wrap and then freeze them inside a freezer bag for up to three months.
Or you can also store your air fryer sliders wrapped individually so that you can reheat them one at a time. If you wrap them individually you can still store your sliders for up to three months.
How long can I store these sliders
The best way to store these sandwiches is by wrapping the entire slider in aluminum foil or plastic wrap and storing them in an airtight container. You can keep it stored this way for up to 5 days in the fridge or 3 months if frozen.
How long do ham and cheese sliders last
Ham and cheese sliders will last a few hours at room temperature – they should stay fresh as long as they are tightly wrapped.

Can I use a different type of cheese
Yes, you can use a different type of cheese. Here are some of the cheeses that I like to use.
- swiss
- provolone
- cheddar
- american
- colby jack
Are ham and cheese sliders bad for you
No, these sliders are not bad for you. While these sliders are not super healthy they are still better than so many other foods for you.
Do Ham and Cheese Sliders reheat well
Yes! In fact, they taste better when reheated if you ask me. Allowing the sliders to sit in the fridge overnight allows the flavors to soak into your bread
Can I double this recipe for a party
Yes, you can absolutely double this recipe. It will take longer to cook these sliders because you will have to cook them in batches but they will disappear just as fast as you can make them.
What kind of air fryer do I need to make these
You can use any type of air fryer that you have in your home. I prefer a basket style air fryer. However, the oven style air fryer will work for these sliders also. No matter which type of air fryer you use for this recipe these sliders will turn out amazing.
