    Copycat Dunkin Donuts Bagel Bites are soft homemade bagels that are filled with cream cheese then toasted in the air fryer. These stuffed bagels make for an amazing breakfast or snack.

    Bagel bites are a popular breakfast or snack food that Dunkin Donuts offers. Our Brownie Batter Dunkin Donut Copycat recipe is definitely worth a look. They also offer many varieties of bagels to choose from.

    You can order either plain bagels, whole wheat, cinnamon raisin, multi-grain, poppy seed, everything and more! For my copycat version I decided to make plain bagel bites stuffed with cream cheese and everything stuffed bagels.

    These bite sized bagel bites with cream cheese come together quickly and are then cooked in the air fryer. They are a great make ahead breakfast or snack idea that you can freeze and cook later for an easy breakfast.

    Ingredients for Air Fryer Homemade Stuffed Mini Bagels

    This recipe uses basic ingredients, or you may need a short trip to the grocery store to grab what's needed.

    • all-purpose flour
    • baking powder
    • salt
    • sour cream
    • cold cream cheese
    • egg
    • water

    • Everything Bagel Seasoning

    Substitutions and Variations

    Don't have the correct ingredients on hand? Or want to change something up? Here are some helpful suggestions for you to change this recipe.

    • Sour Cream - Use greek yogurt or plain yogurt (whole or 2%) instead
    • Cream Cheese - Use your favorite flavored cream cheese instead.
    • Switch the Stuffing - Use jelly or preserves, nutella, chocolate chips, Caramilk squares or Rolos, peanut butter with banana slice or whatever your heart desires can go inside. Some will be trickier than others to add.
    • Add Meat - Add a small piece of sandwich meat on top of the cream cheese.
    • No Everything Bagel Seasoning - Use a sprinkling of poppy seeds, white or black sesame seeds, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, celery or caraway seeds and don't forget some coarse sea or kosher salt.
    • No Egg Wash -Brush heavy cream or melted butter on top instead. Remember garlic butter works great too.

    How to Make Air Fryer Homemade Stuffed Mini Bagels

    Step 1. Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees.

    Flour, baking powder and salt mixed inside a large glass bowl.

    Step 2. In a good sized mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. Work in sour cream until dough forms.

    Step 3. Cut cream cheese into 8 equal pieces.

    Step 4. Divide dough into 8 equal pieces and roll into balls with floured hands.

    Step 5. Using your hands, make a space in the center of each dough ball, place cream cheese pieces inside, then close dough around cream cheese and roll into a smooth ball.

    Step 6. Whisk water and egg together in a small bowl. Brush each bagel ball with egg wash, optional - then sprinkle seasoning on top.

    Step 7. Place dough balls gently into the air fryer basket and cook for 8-9 minutes or until beginning to brown.

    How long do dunkin donuts bagel bites last?

    Dunkin Bagel Bites can last for up to 2 days in the fridge. Or if you freeze the bagel bites then they can be frozen for up to 3 months in an air tight container.

    Can I freeze dunkin bagel bites?

    Yes! You can freeze the cream cheese bagel bites before or after cooking for an easy breakfast option in a flash.

    How do you reheat dunkin donuts bagel bites?

    Dunkin Bagel Bites are best reheated in the microwave for 20 seconds to 1 minute. Make sure your cream cheese stuffed bagel bites are wrapped tightly in a paper towel for easy and quick heating.

    How do I cook frozen stuffed bagel bites in the air fryer?

    If your homemade stuffed bagel bites are frozen, have no fear you can still cook them in your air fryer. You will just need to add two or three minutes to your cooking time to ensure that your frozen cream cheese stuffed bagel bites get cooked all the way through to the center.

    Can I make this recipe head?

    As an added bonus our mini bagel bites can be made ahead of time then frozen for up to three months before cooking.

    What kind of cream cheese should I use when I am stuffing bagels?

    I used regular cream cheese. However, you could also use either fat free, low-fat or flavored cream cheese too. There are so many to choose from just use your favorites. Sometimes, my husband adds a little maple syrup or maple sugar to his plain cream cheese and he savors every bite.

    What else can I stuff into these stuffed bagel bites?

    The great thing about these stuffed bagel bites is that you can stuff them with whatever flavor cream cheese, jelly or preserve you desire. You could also use Nutella, peanut butter with a banana slice or cream cheese and sandwich meat. Anything goes.

      So easy/quick to make and everyone loves them! Just wondering what I'm doing wrong the dough can be so sticky even with flour hands. Thanks for the recipe.

        I find the dough a little sticky too. Try using a little butter or cooking spray on your hands so the dough comes off easier! We love this recipe and make it all the time. They’re delicious! All the best. Karin

      Basically fail proof and easy to customize!
      I use plain Greek yogurt for an extra protein kick, and use spinach and egg if I want a little more protein.
