These peanut butter chocolate covered bananas combine all our favorite flavors into one sweet snack. Bananas are coated with peanut butter, crushed peanuts, and a chocolate drizzle!

Peanut butter and chocolate are a classic combo. So are chocolate and bananas. I decided to put them together, and I created something absolutely amazing!

    Peanut Butter Chocolate Covered Bananas

This was inspired by my other chocolate dipped banana recipe on this site and pairs well with this amazing dalgona coffee recipe.

    Ingredients

It only takes a handful of ingredients to make these tasty banana treats.

    • Frozen whole bananas
    • Peanut butter
    • Crushed peanuts
    • Semi-sweet chocolate chips

See the recipe card at the end of the post for quantities.

    Instructions

Making this recipe is as simple as gathering up the ingredients. It only takes a few simple steps.

    Step 1: Prep

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and place the bananas on it.

Step 2: Add the Peanut Butter and Peanuts

Bananas half covered in peanut butter placed on a sheet of parchment paper. The parchment paper is sitting on a cookie sheet.
Crushed peanut butter sprinkled atop the peanut butter covered bananas.

Use a butter knife to spread a layer of peanut butter on each banana, leaving one end uncovered. Then, sprinkle the peanut butter with crushed peanuts.

    Step 3: Add the Chocolate

Melted chocolate poured onto the peanut butter bananas in a thin zigzag pattern. The poured chocolate looks like string wrapping the bananas.
The Peanut Butter Chocolate Covered Bananas have been resting in a freezer for 1 hour. The chocolate has hardened.

Microwave the chocolate chips at 30-second intervals until completely melted. Then, drizzle the chocolate over the peanut butter-covered bananas.

    Step 4: Freeze

Freeze for 1 hour and enjoy.

Hint: Using frozen bananas keeps them from breaking apart when you spread the peanut butter on them.

    Tips

Although this recipe is very easy, I have a couple of tips to help you make it as easy and delicious as possible.

    • Freeze your bananas first to prevent them from breaking apart as you spread on the peanut butter.
    • If you don't have the desired amount of crushed peanuts adhering to your peanut butter, add more and give them a little press into the peanut butter.
