    Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

This was inspired by another chocolate peanut butter fudge recipe on this site. It uses mini Reese's cups in a white chocolate fudge, and I thought, "What if I create a no bake version? just take the flavor of the peanut butter cups and turn it into fudge? Peanut butter fudge no bake is a definite winner!" or if your feeling up for another " No Bake" recipe, try our Cherry Cream Cheese Pie (No Bake).

Refrigerator: Store for up to a week in an air-tight container.

Freezer: Store for up to 3 months in an air-tight, freezer-safe container.

Make Ahead: This fudge is delicious after it's chilled overnight, so feel free to make it the day before you plan to serve it.

    What to Serve with

This fudge is delicious with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee. It's also perfect as part of a larger dessert table at a potluck.

    Tips

    • If your fudge is too firm, add a splash of milk before refrigerating.
    • Let fudge come to room temperature before serving.
    • Serve cool or at room temperature.
    • Use high-quality chocolate for melting; this will help to achieve a smooth, creamy texture.
    • Refrigerating the mixture overnight can give you better results compared to two hours of refrigeration time.
    • To ensure that your fudge is evenly mixed, try stirring by hand rather than with a mixer as it can create too many air bubbles in the mixture which may affect consistency later down the line when cutting into pieces after chilling in refrigerator.
    • Before cutting your No Bake Peanut Butter Fudge into pieces, rub some butter onto knife blade – this makes slicing much easier!
    • Let your No Bake Peanut Butter Fudge cool completely before serving for best results.
    • If using unsalted peanut butter, add ¼ teaspoon of salt to enhance flavor and balance the sweetness from condensed milk.

    FAQ

What type of chocolate should be used in the recipe?

A: For the best flavor, it is recommended to use a high-quality white chocolate bark. You can also substitute semi-sweet or dark chocolate if desired.

Is there a way to make this recipe lower in sugar?

To reduce the amount of sugar in the fudge, you can replace the sweetened condensed milk with unsweetened condensed milk or a lower-sugar alternative (e.g., lite evaporated milk). You may need to adjust the number of other ingredients accordingly. Additionally, you can omit the shaved chocolate on top for an even lower-sugar option.

Can I use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy?

Yes, you can use crunchy peanut butter if desired. The texture will be slightly different, but the flavor will remain the same.
