    What Is Butternut Squash

    Butternut squash is a type of winter squash that is orange in color and has a long, thin neck and bulbous bottom. It's named for its smooth, butter-colored skin. The flesh is also orange and is very dense and creamy.

    Our family loves soup when the weather turns colder. Soup is always a great way to warm up on a cold winter day. It is also a great way to load up on your vegetables. Butternut squash soup includes healthy ingredients such as pears, leek, carrots, and parsnips along with other delicious healthy ingredients.

    Soup is usually a meal in itself. Sides are a great way to change up your meal and add variety. Different sides can change the whole course of your meal.

    When it comes to what to serve with butternut squash soup, there are many different options. You can go with a simple side of bread or you can get more creative and add some variety to your meal.
