This crescent dough pizza isn't what you're thinking. Crescent dough is wrapped around strips of mozzarella cheese, rolled up into a circle, topped with sauce, and baked to delicious pizza perfection.

I love making anything I can with crescent dough, and I love pizza. So I decided to put those two loves together to create this flaky, golden, cheesy, pizza variation.
This was inspired by my pizza pinwheel recipe and our Homemade Pizza Rolls in an Air Fryer on this site and pairs well with this amazing ranch dip recipe.
