This crescent dough pizza rolls cheese-stuffed crescent dough into a pinwheel shape, tops it with sauce, and bakes it to perfection.

- 1 tube crescent roll dough unrolled
- 4 mozzarella sticks
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt divided
- 1 cup marinara
Get Recipe Ingredients
Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Unroll the crescent dough sheet onto a floured cutting board. Cut into 6 sections using a pizza cutter for simplicity.
Divide mozzarella sticks (lengthwise) into thin sections and place in the center of each dough strip. Repeat until dough strips have ¼” of space at the top and bottom. Peel apart mozzarella sticks are perfect for this recipe if you can find them
Sprinkle ½ teaspoon each of italian seasoning and garlic salt over the dough sheets and cheese.
Wrap the dough strips around the cheese.
Take one strip and start in the center of a pizza pan. Wrap the strip like a coil and continue until all pieces have been used.
Sprinkle remaining italian seasoning and garlic salt over the dough. Brush marinara sauce generously over the pizza.
Top with grated mozzarella and basil.
Place into the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Cut into triangles and serve. Enjoy!
