    How to Make Pizza Bread

Are you looking for an easy and simple meal to make for your entire family? Follow these easy eight steps and you enjoy this twist on pizza bread.

Step 1: Preheat the oven and prepare a cookie sheet

Preheat oven to 375°.  Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray.

Step 2: Roll out the pizza crust

Roll out pizza dough on the parchment paper.  Using a rolling pin roll it out slightly, you don’t want the dough to be thin. You can gently stretch it out evenly with your hands as well.  You want a nice even rectangle-shaped dough.

    Step 3: Cut the dough

Turn the dough sideways.  Cut the dough into 3 even pieces.

Step 4: Spread the sauce and top with pepperoni

Spread a couple of tablespoons of sauce down the middle of each section.  Don’t go to the edges. Then, place 6 large pepperonis over the sauce, overlapping them.

Step 5: Top with cheese and seal the edges

Spread ⅓ cup cheese over each section. Using a little bit of water, wet around the edges so it will stick together. Gently pull up the sides and pinch together well.  Pinch the ends closed.

Step 6: Braid the pizza bread

Very carefully braid the three strands together and pinch the ends together, then tuck the ends under the bread.  If one of the sections opens, just pinch back together.

Step 7: Brush with garlic butter

In a small bowl mix the butter and garlic salt together.  Gently brush or spoon butter over the bread.

    Step 8: Bake

Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.  Check the bread and see if it is golden brown.  Bake an additional 5 minutes if needed. Serve and enjoy.
