How to Make Fruit Loops Rice Krispie Treats
This recipe comes together in just a few easy steps and is simple, fun, and perfect for beginners. Prepare a 9x13-inch casserole dish by spraying it with cooking spray or greasing it with butter.

In a large bowl combine the Rice Krispies and Fruit Loops. Set aside.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and melt completely.
Add the marshmallows and vanilla to the saucepan and stir continuously until just melted and well combined. Remove from heat and add to Fruit Loops mixture. Toss them with the melted marshmallows until all cereal is well coated.

Pour the mixture into the casserole dish and use a piece of wax or parchment paper or a buttered spatula to pack it down into an even layer.
Set aside to allow to cool to room temperature for 1 hour or pop in the fridge for 15 minutes to cool faster. Do not leave it in the refrigerator for more than 15 minutes.
Heat the white melting chocolate according to package instructions.
Using a spoon, resealable bag with the corner cut off or piping bag, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the rice Krispie treats and then immediately and evenly add the sprinkles over the top.
Once cooled, cut the treats into squares.

Recipe FAQs
Too many Fruit Loops or not enough marshmallow mixture can cause this.
Yes, it will work similarly.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
Yes, larger marshmallows can be carefully cut with scissors into smaller pieces or will simply take longer to melt.
I tried this recipe with all Fruit Loops (no Rice Krispies), and they didn't hold together well because of the way the Fruit Loops lay and leave larger gaps.
