Caramel Peanut Butter Brownies are nothing short of divine! Chocolate, peanut butter and caramel, all in one dessert, and done in a totally different way!

    Caramel Peanut Butter Brownie

    Caramel Brownies

This Caramel Brownie with Peanut Butter is a perfect dessert to make first thing in the morning and serve in the evening! The wait is difficult but totally worth it. These brownies are full of everything I love.

My late friend Marcel made this almost every weekend. She could not help herself. She said she made this for the children but then she confessed, they were just the excuse and I now do the exact same thing!

This recipe for Caramel Peanut Butter Brownies is my ultimate guilty pleasure!  The only bad thing about this dessert is waiting for it to set so you can serve it and enjoy it!

I am used to waiting now but it used to drive me crazy waiting!  I guess I am getting older because now I have the patience to wait! Truth be told I just wait because the dessert requires it. You will always be glad that you waited too!

    Gooey Peanut Butter Brownies

This is a wonderful Peanut Butter Brownie with caramel sauce included right in it and is definitely worth a try! Yep, you could leave the caramel out but I figure why bother? The more good stuff in a brownie the better and this recipe needs to be on your bucket list!

I'm hoping that once you try this recipe, as it is, this will always be your goto Peanut Butter Brownie recipe forever and ever, just like after the first time I tried it.

I never imagined caramel sauce in a peanut butter brownie and how much I was going to LOVE it until

How to make Caramel Peanut Butter Brownies

In a medium sized bowl melt butter in your microwave and set aside. You can always melt your butter on your stove or in your oven if you prefer!

Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder in a large bowl and set aside.

In a medium bowl, beat the eggs with the vanilla and add to the dry ingredients.

Add the melted butter and mix until just combined.

Spread ½ of the batter into your prepared pan and bake for 11 minutes.

Place caramel bits in a small saucepan on medium-low.

Add milk and stir until all of the caramel bits are melted, approximately 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and stir until combined.

After 11 minutes, remove brownie from your oven and evenly distribute peanut butter chips on top.

Pour caramel sauce as evenly as possible over top of the peanut butter chips.

Pour remaining batter over top of caramel sauce.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until edges start to darken.

Remove from your oven and allow to totally cool, between 4 or 5 hours. Yes, that long. I have served it a little earlier but do your best to wait! It is totally worth it!

Serve with toppings of your choice and you will enjoy this dessert!
