How to Make Brownies with Sprinkles
Step 1: Melt the butter and then add the sugar. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and sugar is fully incorporated.
Step 2: Add in the beaten eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
Step 3: Sift the cocoa powder, flour, and salt into the wet mixture. Stir until just combined but don’t over-mix.
Step 4: Fold in the caramel-toffee bits into the batter until evenly distributed.
Step 5: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with an offset spatula. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, but not wet batter.
Step 6: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Use the parchment to lift out the brownies and transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 7: Melt the chocolate chips and butter together until smooth in the microwave or double boiler. Stir in the corn syrup until well combined.
Step 8: Spread the chocolate glaze over the top of the fully cooled brownies.
Step 9: Spread the chocolate glaze evenly over the top of the brownies with an offset spatula.
Step 10: Sprinkle the rainbow sprinkles generously over the top of the wet glaze! Allow the glaze to set before slicing and serving the brownies. Serve and enjoy!
⭐️ Hint: Use parchment paper to easily remove the entire sheet of brownies from the pan. Allow the edges of the parchment paper to cover the bottom of the pan but extend over the top of the sides so you have handles you can easily grab to remove the brownies from the pan.

Storage
PRO TIP: Handle brownies gently to keep the sprinkles intact. It is important to allow the brownies to cool and the glaze to set completely before storing.
- Storing: Place the brownies with rainbow sprinkles in an airtight container. Separate layers with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Store in the refrigerated for up to five days. They must be refrigerated because of the chocolate ganache layer.
- Freezer: You can also freeze them for up to three months. Thaw at room temperature or in the refrigerator before serving. Sprinkles on brownies may bleed colors after they're thawed but it will not affect the taste.

Tips
- Size of the Pan. Use an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 baking dish. The right size pan is crucial because if the pan is too big the brownies will be dry, and if it's too small, they'll be undercooked.
- Use Parchment Paper. Lining the pan with parchment paper makes removal and cleanup so much easier.
- Avoid Over-Mixing. This leads to tough, dense brownies.
- Don't Over-Bake. Insert a toothpick into the center that should come out basically clean with a few moist crumbs attached. Over-baking will cause dry brownies.
Recipe FAQs
Yes! Add the sprinkles to the prepared batter along with the toffee bits and gently fold them in with a kitchen spatula.
While any type can be used, nonpareils and jimmies are popular choices for their texture and color retention. As long as you choose high-quality sprinkles and gently folding them into the batter, they should retain their color.
