Fruit Loops Rice Krispie Treats

Prepare a 9x13-inch casserole dish by spraying it with cooking spray or greasing it with butter.
In a large bowl combine the Rice Krispies and Fruit Loops. Set aside.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and melt completely.
Add the marshmallows and vanilla to the saucepan and stir continuously until just melted and well combined. Remove from heat.
Add to Fruit Loops mixture. Toss them with the melted marshmallows until all cereal is well coated.
Pour the mixture into the casserole dish and use a piece of wax/parchment paper and your hands or a buttered spatula to firmly pack it down into an even layer. Don't press too hard or you'll end up with dense, hard bars.
Set aside to allow to cool to room temperature for 1 hour or pop in the fridge for 15 minutes to cool faster. Do not leave it in the refrigerator for more than 15 minutes.
Heat the white melting chocolate according to package instructions.
Using a spoon, small resealable bag with the corner cut off or piping bag, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the rice Krispie treats and then immediately and evenly add the sprinkles over the top.
Cut and serve. Once cooled, cut the treats into squares. I made 4-inch squares, but you can make them as large or small as you'd like.
- Storage: In an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Freezing or refrigerating is not recommended as they become hard.
- Use fresh marshmallows: They melt smoother and taste better.
- Grease tools: Prevents sticking when pressing into the pan.
- Press gently: Avoid overly dense treats.
