How To Make S'mores in the Air Fryer
Making these s'mores is so simple! You'll be in and out of the kitchen in no time. See the highlights here and be sure to check the recipe card at the end of the post for the exact instructions.
- Break up the graham crackers into squares and top each one with a layer of marshmallow fluff.
- Next, add the chocolate bar pieces.
- Add more marshmallow fluff and then top with a marshmallow.
- Place a graham cracker square on top.
- Place them in your air fryer basket and cook until gooey.
⭐️ Hint: Keep an eye on your s'mores while they are cooking as times may vary depending on your model and size of your pieces. I find that 90-120 seconds is usually enough but some models may need less or more time so check every 30 seconds after that point until desired crispiness is reached.

Tips
- Serve immediately! These are best served when warm and gooey straight from the air fryer, and they don't reheat well.
- Preheat the air fryer before adding the s'mores to ensure they are cooked thoroughly.
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking and burning of the ingredients.
- Cook only four s'mores at a time, leaving plenty of space between them for even heating and cooking. This number may vary depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Remove s'mores from the air fryer carefully as they will be very soft. Allow them to cool slightly before serving for best results.
FAQ
I break my chocolate bars into four. So I use two individual chocolate bars to make my air fryer s'mores. One chocolate bar can make about three S'mores. If you want more chocolate, you can break your chocolate bar in half so that you have four individual Hershey's bars in each one.
You can use any air fryer that you have to make them. I personally find that a basket-style air fryer works best and is the type of air fryer that I used to make them for this recipe.
It's hard to but you actually can. The crackers can easily burn if you're not careful but the biggest ingredient that is going to overcook is going to be the marshmallow fluff or marshmallows. The more that you cook a marshmallow and overcook it, the harder of a texture it's going to be. This doesn't make it inedible, it just makes it hard and chewy as it cools.
Some people actually prefer their marshmallow or marshmallow fluff a bit burnt and toasted which is totally up to preference and taste.
You'll know after you make the first one.
You can choose to make your s'mores without marshmallow fluff, however, it is recommended as it provides a “glue” that keeps all of your ingredients together and stops warm air from moving around in the uncooked s'more.
Milk or dark chocolate both pair well with s'mores in the air fryer. However, it is highly recommended to use Hershey’s chocolate bars as they melt perfectly and add a nice sweetness to the dish.

Air Fryer S’mores
Equipment
Ingredients
- 8 graham crackers broken in half
- 2 Hershey’s chocolate bars broken in 4 sections of 3 pieces each
- 1-2 tablespoons marshmallow fluff
- 8 marshmallows
Instructions
- Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
- With or without marshmallow fluff even though I highly recommend it. Marshmallow fluff is the glue that holds everything together. Stops air from moving your uncooked smores.
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- Line air fryer basket with parchment paper liner.
- Build s’mores by placing half of the graham cracker halves on a plate.
- Spread marshmallow fluff onto all graham cracker pieces.
- Place chocolate onto half of the graham cracker halves.
- Stick marshmallow to fluff.
- Top with remaining graham crackers. My son adds a bit of fluff here to hold the top cracker in place better. I don't. After you try to make one you'll know whether you need it or not.
- Place 4 at a time, leaving space between each one in air fryer basket, and cook for just 90 to 120 seconds. (Once air fryer is hot you may not need much more than 60 seconds)
- Be careful removing from air fryer as they will be very soft.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy every bite!
