How to Make Hot Dog Sliders
This recipe is incredibly simple and comes together in just a few easy steps. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray an 9x13 casserole dish lightly with cooking spray.

Place your sliders into the bottom of your casserole dish and cut a slit into the tops of the buns about ¾ of the way to the bottom. Spread the cuts slightly and push a slice of cheese inside, if using, followed by a hot dog inside the cheese in each slit.

Brush the buns with the melted butter.

Bake in your preheated oven uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until the tops are toasted and the hotdogs are heated throughout.

Slice and separate the sliders and add your favorite hot dog toppings. Serve.
Recipe Tips
- Don't cut too deep: Keeps buns intact
- Use a serrated knife: Helps slice the rolls cleanly without squishing them
- Use bun-length hot dogs: Better fit or cut hot dogs to correct size
- Serve warm: Best taste and texture
- Cover loosely with foil: Prevents over-browning if baking longer
- Add seeds: After you brush on melted butter quickly sprinkle on sesame or poppy seeds for a classic hot dog bun look
