Can you use other types of beans for this bean dip recipe?
There are ways to take shortcuts if you want. Some people might want to go ahead and use canned refried beans but it will have an impact on the overall taste and flavor.

Other Ways To Enjoy This Cheesy Bacon Ranch Bean Dip
The other great thing about this bean dip recipe is that you can eat it as a dip or put it right on top of your nachos, tacos, and burritos as well.
This recipe can actually be quite versatile and can add a ton of flavor to a lot of different recipes as well.
How To Store Leftover Dips
If you have some of this dip leftover, you need to store it in the fridge until you’re ready to reheat and eat again. You will want to eat this within two days of making it.
You might also notice a bit of liquid that comes from this dip when it sits but just drain it off or stir it in once reheated. The liquid can be from the beans or other added ingredients and shouldn’t be of any concern.
How To Reheat Bean Dip
Truth be told, I could eat this dip hot or cold, it really doesn’t matter to me. The flavor and taste make this super delicious and half the time, I’m too impatient to wait for it to be heated up all the way to enjoy. BUT, if you’re a fan of hot dips, you can easily reheat this dip by putting it back in the oven low and slow OR microwaving it in short bursts to get back the heat.
If you’re reheating this dip, just be certain to stir it and watch out for hot “pockets.” The top layer of the dip may not be hot but underneath it all, it just might burn your mouth!
And once you reheat it, if you need to add on more cheese and toppings, do so at that point in time. I also like to change it to another container or platter so that it has a better presentation as well once it’s warmed up and ready to enjoy again.
