Why You’ll Love This Monster Ice Cream Recipe
- No-churn recipe: This is an easy homemade ice cream recipe that doesn’t require eggs or an ice cream maker.
- Just 5 ingredients: With only five simple ingredients, you can whip up a deliciously indulgent treat right in your kitchen.
- Minimal prep: I love quick and easy dessert recipes like this one! You only need a few minutes of prep time, and then it’s ready to freeze.
Ingredients
You only need a few basic no-churn ice cream ingredients and the mix-ins for the monster cookie flavor. It’s so easy!
- Heavy cream: This adds a creamy texture to the ice cream. When the cream is whipped, air is incorporated into it, which is what helps no-churn ice cream stay fluffy.
- Vanilla extract: I love the subtle vanilla flavor of real vanilla extract. It is also helpful to enhance the flavors of the other ingredients like peanut butter.
- Sweetened condensed milk: This is the key to making no-churn ice cream smooth and sweet without the need for additional sugar.
- Peanut butter: Classic monster cookies have peanut butter cookie dough, so it makes sense to add peanut butter to the ice cream base. It adds a little salty flavor!
- Crushed M&Ms: I like to crush some of the M&Ms and leave others whole for a range of texture throughout the ice cream.
See the recipe card below for exact ingredient amounts, nutritional information, and detailed instructions.

- Monster crunch ice cream: Fold in chopped peanuts and pecans for a crunchy texture.
- Monster Oreo cookie ice cream: Crushed Oreo cookies are a great addition to this recipe. Fold some into the ice cream and sprinkle extra on top.
How to Make Monster Cookie Ice Cream
Here are the instructions on how to make this monster ice cream recipe. It only takes a few minutes to prepare the ingredients, and then the freezer does the rest of the work!
Step 1: Whip the cream and vanilla. Combine the heavy cream and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to whip the ingredients until stiff peaks form.

Recipe Tips
- Storage directions: Store this ice cream tightly covered in the freezer for up to 2 months.
- Don’t overmix: Carefully mix the ingredients into the whipped cream mixture to ensure that it doesn’t deflate. This will help keep your ice cream light and fluffy instead of dense.
- Swirl the peanut butter: Instead of fully mixing in the peanut butter, add it in dollops and gently swirl it into the ice cream.
- Soften for serving: Allow the ice cream to sit on the counter for about 5 minutes to soften, which will make it much easier to scoop.
