    This rich, moist, and fudgy M&M brownies recipe is loaded with deep, chocolaty flavor and an extra kick of fun with colorful M&Ms throughout the batter and on top.

    Brownies are always a welcome sight. Everyone always rushes toward a plate full of these chocolaty treats. We made this batch even more irresistible with the added color and extra chocolate of M&Ms. Delicious!

    This recipe was inspired by our brown butter brownies and easy chocolate fudge brownies. Both are super chewy and perfect to satisfy any brownie craving too.

    Instructions

    This is a basic brownie recipe with one addition. That means it's super easy for anyone to make. You'll be all done in no time!

    Mix the cocoa powder, melted butter, and vanilla.

    Flour and salt are added.

    Add the flour and salt and mix again.

    Transfer the batter to a prepared pan and top it with M&Ms, pressing them into the batter.

    Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    Let the brownies cool completely, then remove them from the pan and cut them into squares.

    Hint: Line your baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhand on two opposing sides to make it easy to remove the brownies for cutting.

    Storage

    Room Temperature: Store these brownies on the counter in an air-tight container for up to 4 days.

    Refrigerator: NEVER refrigerate brownies. It dries them out.

    Freezer: Wrap the brownies in plastic wrap and freeze them for up to 2 months in an air-tight, freezer-safe container or heavy-duty freezer bag.

    Reheat: Defrost frozen brownies on the counter until they reach room temperature.

    Make Ahead: These brownies should be at room temperature before they're cut, so feel free to make them a few hours before serving them.
