Coconut shrimp is a popular dish, but what do you serve with it? Do you want to make the meal as tasty and filling as possible? Are you looking for an easy side dish that goes well with coconut shrimp? If so, we have what you're looking for. This post will talk about what to serve with coconut shrimp and what dishes work best. We'll also provide recipes that use these ingredients!

You have to try our air fryer coconut shrimp with a Pina Colada sauce recipe. There is so much you can do with an air fryer. If you do not currently own one, I highly recommend you purchase one soon.

Having a side dish with shrimp makes it a full meal. Shrimp is your protein, but you typically need just a bit more to make it a full nutritious meal. Thankfully, there are many sides to choose from that pair perfectly with coconut shrimp.

WHY SHOULD YOU SERVE SIDES WITH COCONUT SHRIMP?

The coconut shrimp is what you're craving, but it's not a complete meal on its own. You'll need at least some vegetables or another starch to round out your plate and make it a full dinner. The side dish will also help break up all those savory flavors from the shrimps.

Here are a few side dish ideas that work well with coconut shrimp:

Jasmine rice or brown rice. These both pair well with the sweetness of the coconut shrimp and add some more texture to your meal.

Coconut quinoa is another great option as it has the same flavors going on as the shrimp. It's also a bit lighter than rice.

Collard greens are what you need if you're trying to eat healthier or lose weight. The coconut shrimp will still taste great but offer more nutrients with the collard greens as your side dish!

Here are some of our favorite sides to try when figuring out what to serve with coconut shrimp.

TAKE COCONUT SHRIMP TO THE NEXT LEVEL

If you're looking for something a bit more adventurous to serve with your coconut shrimp, we have recipes that will take your meal to the next level.

Pina Colada sauce is always a great pairing with coconut shrimp. It's sweet and creamy and takes just minutes to make in the blender. You'll love the flavors together.

Another great sauce to try is a Thai peanut sauce. Again, it's sweet and savory and takes just minutes to make. It pairs perfectly with the coconut shrimp!

We hope you enjoy these recipes as much as we do! They are sure to take your meal from good to great in no time at all.

I think that the best way to serve coconut shrimp is with a spicy sauce and some rice. The sweet taste of this appetizer goes perfectly with a little bit of spice from the cayenne pepper or sriracha sauce. Plus, both sauces are low in calories so you can indulge without any guilt! What do you like to dip your shrimp into?
