Potatoes are the king of sides in our home, and in most homes, I imagine. From baked to scalloped and everything in between, we love our spuds served as a side dish or a meal.
One of my favorite ways to prepare them is to make Hasselback potatoes, air fryers work beautifully to make them. This version is absolutely delicious and so easy to create.

Instructions
Making these potatoes is just as easy as the ingredient list. The highlights are below, but you can find the complete instructions in the recipe card at the end of the post.
1: Wash and scrub the potatoes clean. Dry with paper towel. Next, you need to cut the potatoes. Thinly slice or cut slits into each and place a pat of butter in between each cut.
2: Season with salt and pepper, place in air fryer basket and then air fried until tender.
3: Remove carefully from air fryer and brush the potatoes with a small bowl filled with melted butter, right before serving. You'll be glad you did!
Storage
Refrigerator: Store in an air-tight container for up to 4 days.
Freezer: Hasselback potatoes don't freeze well.
Reheat: Let the potatoes come to room temperature. Then, bake them for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 until heated through.

Ingredients
- 3 medium-sized potatoes
- 8 oz butter chilled
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Using a sharp knife, make slits across each potato about ⅛ to ¼ inch apart, making sure to cut ¾ of the way down the potato but not all the way through.
