Air fryer hasselback potatoes are a new way to enjoy classic comfort food. They're full of buttery flavor and always perfectly cooked.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium-sized potatoes
  • 8 oz butter chilled
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Using a sharp knife, make slits across each potato about ⅛ to ¼ inch apart, making sure to cut ¾ of the way down the potato but not all the way through.
  • Place a thin slice of butter in each of the slits.
  • Place prepared potatoes into your air fryer basket.
  • Salt and pepper the potatoes.
  • Air fry at 350ºF for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  • Carefully remove potatoes from air fryer basket.
  • If you choose to, you can brush melted butter over top before serving.

Notes

  • Be sure to leave ¼-inch of potato whole at the bottom so your potatoes don't fall apart.
  • Always preheat your air fryer for even cooking. It's a myth that they don't have to be preheated.
