I adore this Strawberries and Cream Martini recipe! The combination of the whipped cream vodka with fresh strawberries and Bailey's is surprising but winning. I like to add a little grenadine to truly enhance its adorable pink color. This is the perfect cocktail for anyone who likes their drinks on the sweeter side but is still bold.

Easy cocktails like these, such as the strawberries and cream drink, are the best if you like to indulge on special occasions. They consist of just a few ingredients but still feel sophisticated and fancy. Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits, so I can say for certain that this has become one of my go-to dessert martinis. It's best enjoyed with a healthy slice of strawberry Charlotte.

- It has great flavor: The flavor in this martini is almost too good. The fresh strawberry puree is sweet and tart, while the vodka and Bailey's make it bold and rich.

Ingredients
All the components needed for this creamy strawberry martini are listed below. If you love cocktails, you will be familiar with the ingredients used!

- Strawberry puree: I make a quick homemade strawberry puree for this strawberry and cream martini, consisting of strawberries and a little sugar. It's simple but adds natural flavor to the drink.
- Whipped cream vodka: The whipped cream vodka gives this martini added sweetness and adds to the cream flavor. If you want to use regular vodka, that's fine!
- Bailey's Irish cream: There is no real substitute for Bailey's that tastes as good (in my opinion), so this is one ingredient you definitely need for this recipe.
- Grenadine: This adds a subtle sweetness but is mostly used for color. I like to use it to enhance the pink color, but you can leave it out if you like.
See the recipe card below for exact ingredient amounts, nutritional information, and detailed instructions.
Variations
- Cranberry twist: Swap the grenadine for cranberry syrup to add some tartness but still achieve the right color. (Rhubarb syrup is great for this, too)
- Birthday cake: Use birthday cake-flavored vodka instead of whipped cream to give this martini a strawberry cake flavor.
- Strawberry champagne: Pour this over a cup of prosecco to give this cocktail sparkling strawberry champagne vibes.
How to Make a Strawberries and Cream Martini
Preparing this cocktail just takes a few minutes and 4 simple steps. It's even great last minute!

Step 1: Puree the strawberries. Combine the strawberries and sugar in a food processor and pulse until they are pureed.

Step 2: Strain. Next, use a fine mesh strainer to remove the pulp and seeds.

Step 3: Add ingredients to the shaker. Now you can add the puree, ice, Bailey's, vodka, and optional grenadine to the cocktail shaker.

Step 4: Shake and pour. Give it a good shake until the contents are nice and chilled, and then pour between two cocktail glasses.
Recipe Tips
- Chill the glasses and ingredients: This strawberry Bailey's cocktail is best enjoyed nice and cold, so I like to chill the ingredients and the martini glasses in the refrigerator before I make them.
- Don't stir it: You might be tempted to stir the ingredients if you don't have a cocktail shaker. Use a mason jar and a fine mesh strainer instead of stirring for the best results.
- Try frozen strawberries: Use may use frozen berries in your puree if you don't have any fresh. Thaw them first, then puree them with the sugar.

Recipe FAQs
I don't recommend making this particular recipe in a large batch. As it sits, it may separate, and you can't shake the ingredients in that kind of container. Just make them to order!
If they aren't shaken well enough or if you just stir them, they will separate. Shake well with ice for at least 10-15 minutes.
Bailey's is a thicker alcohol, and if you add extra, it can be on the thicker side. An extra splash of vodka should fix this easily.

Strawberries and Cream Martini
Equipment
Ingredients
Strawberry Puree
- 1 cup fresh strawberries tops removed and chopped
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Cocktail
- ice
- 8 ounces whipped cream vodka divided
- 4 ounces Baileys Irish Cream divided
- strawberry puree divided
- ½ teaspoon grenadine optional
Instructions
- Make your puree by adding strawberries and sugar to a food processor.
- Using a fine strainer, remove the seeds (the amount you are left with can change based on seeds and juiciness of berries- I had a ½ cup).
- Depending on the size of your cocktail shaker you may want to work in batches. Fill cocktail shaker about halfway with ice, then add half of the vodka, Baileys, and strawberry puree and sake until chilled (you can taste and add ½ teaspoon grenadine or simple syrup if you want more sweetness).
- Strain into 2 martini glasses then repeat for the second batch.
Notes
- This strawberries and cream cocktail is best enjoyed freshly made, rather than in a large batch, as it's harder to fix if the ingredients separate.
- Try preparing this martini with frozen strawberries instead of fresh. You'll still have a delicious puree!
- Avoid stirring the cocktail ingredients to ensure that they are thoroughly mixed and chilled.
