Cocktail
- ice
- 8 ounces whipped cream vodka divided
- 4 ounces Baileys Irish Cream divided
- strawberry puree divided
- ½ teaspoon grenadine optional
Make your puree by adding strawberries and sugar to a food processor.
Using a fine strainer, remove the seeds (the amount you are left with can change based on seeds and juiciness of berries- I had a ½ cup).
Depending on the size of your cocktail shaker you may want to work in batches. Fill cocktail shaker about halfway with ice, then add half of the vodka, Baileys, and strawberry puree and sake until chilled (you can taste and add ½ teaspoon grenadine or simple syrup if you want more sweetness).
Strain into 2 martini glasses then repeat for the second batch.
- This strawberries and cream cocktail is best enjoyed freshly made, rather than in a large batch, as it’s harder to fix if the ingredients separate.
- Try preparing this martini with frozen strawberries instead of fresh. You’ll still have a delicious puree!
- Avoid stirring the cocktail ingredients to ensure that they are thoroughly mixed and chilled.
