How to Make a Gingerbread Martini
The steps needed to mix your tasty gingersnap martini are listed below. It only takes a few minutes to prepare!

Step 1: Prepare the garnishes. Gather any garnishes and prepare them, including crushing some gingersnap cookies.

Step 2: Dip the rim. Next, dip the rim of the cocktail glass lightly in some gingerbread syrup, then in the crushed cookies.

Step 3: Combine the ingredients. Add all of the ingredients for the cocktail into the cocktail shaker with ice.

Step 4: Shake and pour. Give it a good shake and then pour it into the cocktail glass. Add whipped cream and a cookie on top, and enjoy!
Recipe Tips
- Chill the ingredients: Keep the alcohol in the refrigerator until you're ready to prepare your gingerbread cocktail. It will keep the drink colder longer and give it a smoother flavor.
- Chill the glasses: I like to keep the cocktail glasses in the fridge as well. It prevents the temperature of the drink from warming too fast.
- Shake it well: Ensure that you shake the ingredients well to ensure that you get a balanced sip.

Gingerbread Martini
Ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce Irish cream liqueur such as Baileys
- 1 ounce coffee liqueur
- 1 ounce half and half
- 1 tablespoon gingerbread syrup
- Ice for shaking
- Crushed gingersnaps for rim (optional)
- Cinnamon sugar for rim (optional)
- Whipped cream and mini gingerbread cookie for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pour a small amount of gingerbread syrup onto a shallow plate and place the crushed gingersnaps (and cinnamon sugar, if using) on another plate. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the syrup, then immediately into the cookie mixture to coat. Set the glass aside.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, Irish cream, coffee liqueur, half and half, and remaining gingerbread syrup.
- Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and creamy.
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glass.
- Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, or a mini gingerbread cookie for a festive garnish.
Notes
- Chill the ingredients and the cocktail glasses to keep your gingerbread martini cold longer.
- For best results, prepare this gingerbread martini recipe in separate glasses and not a large batch.
- Adjust it to suit your taste! If it's too sweet, add a little more vodka or less syrup for a bolder flavor.
