- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce Irish cream liqueur such as Baileys
- 1 ounce coffee liqueur
- 1 ounce half and half
- 1 tablespoon gingerbread syrup
- Ice for shaking
- Crushed gingersnaps for rim (optional)
- Cinnamon sugar for rim (optional)
- Whipped cream and mini gingerbread cookie for garnish (optional)
Pour a small amount of gingerbread syrup onto a shallow plate and place the crushed gingersnaps (and cinnamon sugar, if using) on another plate. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the syrup, then immediately into the cookie mixture to coat. Set the glass aside.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, Irish cream, coffee liqueur, half and half, and remaining gingerbread syrup.
Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and creamy.
Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glass.
Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, or a mini gingerbread cookie for a festive garnish.
- Chill the ingredients and the cocktail glasses to keep your gingerbread martini cold longer.
- For best results, prepare this gingerbread martini recipe in separate glasses and not a large batch.
- Adjust it to suit your taste! If it’s too sweet, add a little more vodka or less syrup for a bolder flavor.
