Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce Irish cream liqueur such as Baileys
  • 1 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce half and half
  • 1 tablespoon gingerbread syrup
  • Ice for shaking
  • Crushed gingersnaps for rim (optional)
  • Cinnamon sugar for rim (optional)
  • Whipped cream and mini gingerbread cookie for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Pour a small amount of gingerbread syrup onto a shallow plate and place the crushed gingersnaps (and cinnamon sugar, if using) on another plate. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the syrup, then immediately into the cookie mixture to coat. Set the glass aside.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, Irish cream, coffee liqueur, half and half, and remaining gingerbread syrup.
  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and creamy.
  • Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glass.
  • Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, or a mini gingerbread cookie for a festive garnish.

Notes

  • Chill the ingredients and the cocktail glasses to keep your gingerbread martini cold longer.
  • For best results, prepare this gingerbread martini recipe in separate glasses and not a large batch.
  • Adjust it to suit your taste! If it’s too sweet, add a little more vodka or less syrup for a bolder flavor.
