- Make a Virgin - Remove the rum and add more ginger ale or club soda
- Make it Traditional - The ginger ale adds sugar and flavor to the drink, but if you’re looking for more of a traditional mojito use club soda and add ¼-1/2 cup sugar to the pitcher. Stir until dissolved.
- Ginger Ale - Use club soda, sparkling water, tonic water or sparkling cider which will alter flavor somewhat.
- Grenadine - use a simple syrup or flavored syrup such as raspberry, peach, mango, blackberry, cherry syrup or your favorite.
- Strawberries - Use frozen strawberries if fresh aren’t available or add other fruits like pineapple, mango, watermelon, raspberries or blueberries
- Lime - Use lemon, orange, or grapefruit slices instead
- Fresh Mint Leaves - Use basil or rosemary instead
