This Scooby Doo shot tastes like a tropical dessert in a glass! Coconut rum, banana liqueur, pineapple juice, and heavy cream combine to create a creamy, fruity, and Caribbean-inspired flavor that elevates any party to the next level.

These Scooby Doo shots deliver a taste of the tropics, a pretty color, and a slightly sweet flavor. We love serving this shot alongside other summery drinks like our Key Lime pie shot. They have a bright flavor that works perfectly with party snacks like these Big Mac egg rolls or this cinnamon sugar churro popcorn.

Why You Will Love This Recipe

    • Easy to Make: These shots require only four simple ingredients and are easy to create.
    • Great Tropical Flavor: This shot is a little glass full of coconut, banana, and pineapple flavors.

    Ingredients

You can find everything you need to make this shot in about 10 minutes in the grocery store.

    Ingredients needed to make shot.
    • Coconut Rum: Adds wonderful flavor but you can use a combination of white rum and coconut cream instead for a richer, creamier shot.
    • Banana Liqueur: Tastes great with the coconut rum. Try Midori instead for a hint of melon flavor or blue cracao to add a hint or orange.
    • Pineapple Juice: The perfect juice however orange juice is a nice substitute if needed, creating a milder citrus taste.
    • Heavy Cream: Adds a rich creaminess and enhances flavors.
    • Ice: Makes sure all ingredients are cool.

    GARNISHES:

    • Whipped Cream and Scooby Doo Cookies : The perfect optional garnish.

See the recipe card below for the exact quantities of each ingredient.

    Instructions

It only takes four easy steps and a couple of minutes to make this shot.

Step 1: Fill a cocktail shaker about halfway with ice. Pour in the coconut rum, banana liqueur, and pineapple juice.

Step 2: Add heavy cream into the shaker and mix well.

Step 3: Strain into two 2.5-ounce (or three 2-ounce) shot glasses and enjoy.

Step 4: Optionally, add some whipped cream and top with a Scooby Snack cookie.

    Recipe Tips

    • Shake your cocktail shaker vigorously to mix and chill ingredients beforehand for best results.
    • If you plan to garnish your shots with whipped cream and Scooby Doo cookies, use tall, slender shot glasses so the cookies can rest on the rim.
