FAQ
Here are some of the most commonly asked questions about bruschetta!
Bruschetta is a type of Italian bread that's made by toasting bread rubbed with olive oil and cloves of garlic and seasoned with salt and pepper. Typically it's topped with a mixture of fresh chopped tomatoes mixed with olive oil, garlic, and fresh basil and/or oregano.
Most bruschetta should be served warm for the best flavor but it still tastes amazing even when cold. We recommend serving these cheesy bruschettas warm.
If you're looking for a low-carb or gluten-free option, I recommend choosing eggplant or zucchini slices as the perfect way to serve up bruschetta. Brush the tops with a bit of olive oil before adding your mixture and cooking just until slightly tender. You can also opt for crackers instead of bread.

Is there something else other than Mayo you could recommend as a substitute?
Karin and Ken says
I apologize because I have been in hospital and when that happens nothing gets done! You could try sour cream, mustard, olive oil, pesto or greek yogurt or a mixture of a couple to make this easy recipe. Keep tasting the mixture as you're making it until you're happy with the flavors. Please let me know what you think of the results. I would LOVE to hear what you did. All the best. Karin

I have made these numerous times as it's fast easy and everyone loves them. The Crispy mushroom is another favorite as well. Something different to serve in place of the traditional garlic bread

Do you have a recipe for the Bruschetta?
Karin and Ken says
Sorry for the delay in responding to you. We have tried the recipe a couple more times and simply seeded and diced 2 medium sized tomatoes. We added 1/2 teaspoon of basil and 1 teaspoon of oregano to the tomato mixture. If you are unable to find a small container of bruschetta at your local grocery store this tastes delicious also! Hope this helps! All the best. Karin
