This dessert is one of those easy recipes that feels a little like an indulgence every time you make it. Rich without heaviness, it has the perfect balance of creamy and crunchy textures. I just love how quickly it comes together. With minimal effort and no baking required, it's the kind of treat you'll want to make again and again.

This was inspired by my orange fluff salad and Christmas fluff recipe on this site. It pairs well with these delicious peanut butter Pop Tarts.

    Ingredients

This recipe only requires a handful of simple ingredients, making it easy to whip up anytime.

All the ingredients needed to make Reese's Fluff in bowls on a table
    • Creamy peanut butter: Provides the rich, nutty flavor
    • Whipped topping: Creates the light, fluffy texture (you can use marshmallow fluff instead)
    • Reese's peanut butter cups: Adds chunks of chocolate and peanut butter
    • Mini chocolate chips: Enhances chocolate flavor and texture
    • Mini marshmallows: Adds sweetness and chewiness

See the recipe card below for the exact quantities of each ingredient.

    Variations

    • Add-Ins: Add crushed or chopped Oreos, brownie chunks, Rolos, sliced bananas, chopped strawberries or your favorite chocolate bar chopped.
    • Crunchy peanut butter: Use instead of creamy for added crunch.
    • Add a swirl: Add caramel sauce or Nutella for extra flavor.
    • S'mores version: Add roughly chopped graham crackers or a sprinkling of graham crumbs and use marshmallow fluff instead of whipped topping.
    • More Creamy: Add ½ cup marshmallow fluff or whipped cream.

How to Make Peanut Butter Fluff

This recipe is incredibly easy and comes together in just a few simple steps.

Chopped Reese's peanut butter cups and chocolate chips added to fluff.

Step 1: Add ingredients. In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter and whipped topping until well combined and creamy smooth. The peanut butter will be sticky and thick. Keep mixing until smooth.

Once combined, add the Reese's cups, crumbling them as you add them to the bowl along with the mini chocolate chips.

    All ingredients folded into fluff.

Step 2: Gently fold. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated. Cover and set in your refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Fold in the mini marshmallows until they are all coated in the Reese's fluff flavoring.

Place the Reese's fluff in your refrigerator, covered, until ready to serve. Once ready, top with extra mini chocolate chips and chopped Reese's peanut butter cups.

A cup full of fluff on a table.
