You can cut the hot dogs into pieces that are any size you desire! I prefer bite sized pieces but you truly can make the any size you want. My close friend Julie actually chops the hot dogs into small pieces and mixes them in with the chili. Just as delicious and definitely worth a try!

Chili Cheese Tater Tot Hot Dog Casserole
- 1 pkg hot dogs, sliced as thick or thin as you like
- 4 cups chili, canned or homemade
- 7-8 cups tater tots, frozen
- 2 cups cheese, shredded, more or less to taste
- cooking spray
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Grab a 13x9 inch pan or something similar. Place sliced hot dogs all over the bottom of the pan. Cover the hot dogs with chili and then sprinkle some cheese. We find this helps the tater tots not get soggy. Next place your frozen tater tots in rows and columns. Put as many frozen tater tots as you can without overlapping. Add remaining cheese on top. Bake for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
