This bagel dip recipe is loaded with everything we love on our bagels. Cream cheese, dill, bacon, special seasoning, and more come together to create a rich, creamy dip. Perfect for any occasion.

A bowl full of bagel dip with pepper, cucumbers and crackers.

I love making dips, and the more flavorful the better. This dip is loaded with a ton of flavors, making it perfect for dipping everything from crackers to veggies.

    Bagel Dip

This was inspired by my slow roasted onion bacon dip on this site. It pairs well with my pasta chips and these oven-baked pita chips. My smoked pretzels are also great with this dip.

Try using my homemade bagel recipe to make both everything bagels as well as plain bagels. These pumpkin bagels can be done right inside your own air fryer too. They're perfect for making bagel chips and I can't wait for you to try them!

    Ingredients

You'll only need a few basic ingredients to make this delicious bagel dip. You'll find everything you need at your local grocery store.

    • Roasted garlic head
    • Minced shallot
    • Fresh dill sprigs
    • Cream cheese, room temperature
    • Sour cream
    • Mayonnaise
    • Everything bagel seasoning
    • Bacon Bits

See the recipe card at the end of the post for quantities.

    Instructions

It only takes a handful of simple steps to make this bagel dip recipe.

    Step 1: Roast the Garlic

Follow my air fryer roasted garlic recipe instructions. My oven-roasted garlic recipe can also be used to roast the garlic for the dip. Let the garlic cool for about five minutes.

Step 2: Combine the Garlic, Shallot, and Dill

Squeeze the garlic out of the bulb and into a food processor. Then, add the minced shallot and the entire dill sprig. Pulse until you get a slightly chunky paste. Scrap the sides of the processor as necessary to adequately mix.

    Step 3: Make the Dip

Add the cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, and roasted garlic mixture to a medium mixing bowl and beat with a hand mixer on low speed until completely combined. Finally, mix in the bacon bits and everything bagel seasoning.

Hint: A hand mixer is the best way to thoroughly mix the dip ingredients.
