I love making dips, and the more flavorful the better. This dip is loaded with a ton of flavors, making it perfect for dipping everything from crackers to veggies.

    Bagel Dip

This was inspired by my other creamy dip recipe on this site and pairs well with this amazing smoked pretzels recipe.

    Ingredients

You’ll only need a few basic ingredients to make this delicious bagel dip. You’ll find everything you need at your local grocery store.

    • Roasted garlic head
    • Minced shallot
    • Fresh dill sprigs
    • Softened cream cheese
    • Sour cream
    • Mayonnaise
    • Everything bagel seasoning
    • Bacon Bits

See the recipe card at the end of the post for quantities.

    Instructions

It only takes a handful of simple steps to make this bagel dip recipe.

    Step 1: Roast the Garlic

Follow my air fryer roasted garlic recipe instructions or my oven-roasted garlic recipe to roast the garlic for the dip. Let the garlic cool for about five minutes.

Step 2: Combine the Garlic, Shallot, and Dill

Squeeze the garlic out of the bulb and into a food processor. Then, add the minced shallot and the entire dill sprig. Pulse until you get a slightly chunky paste. Scrap the sides of the processor as necessary to adequately mix.

    Step 3: Make the Dip

Add the cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, and roasted garlic mixture to a medium mixing bowl and beat with a hand mixer on low speed until completely combined. Finally, mix in the bacon bits and everything bagel seasoning.

Hint: A hand mixer is the best way to thoroughly mix the dip ingredients.
