Fudge is such a fun dessert. It's a classic that almost all of us love. I love making it, too, especially no-bake recipes like this one. I think once you try this springtime fudge, you're going to love it, too.

This was inspired by my Fruity Pebbles fudge recipe. The Fruity Pebbles worked so well, I knew I could do the same with colored baking chips. And I was right!

    Why You'll Love This Recipe

    • It only uses a handful of simple, basic ingredients.
    • It's rich, creamy, and so delicious.
    • It's full of beautiful, pastel unicorn colors.

    Ingredients

This 4 ingredient unicorn fudge recipe uses common ingredients you will find easily at your local grocery store. See the recipe card at the end of the post for exact amounts.

    • Vanilla almond bark
    • Sweetened condensed milk
    • Mini rainbow-colored chips
    • Pastel colored sprinkles

    Substitutions and Variations

    • Vanilla bark - Use white chocolate chips with a teaspoon or two of coconut oil instead. For more information on using white chocolate and substitutes if you'd like to read it.
    • Pastel sprinkles - Use gold or silver in place of or in addition to pastel sprinkles.
    • Food Coloring - Using a few different microwave safe bowls you can add chocolate to each with a few drops of color to create a multi- colored fudge istead to make a rainbow unicorn fudge.
    • Add an Extract - Vanilla is a universal crowd-pleaser, but feel free to swap in almond, coconut, peppermint, lemon, banana, maple, orange, or rum extract instead to alter flavor.
    • Add Zest - If adding orange extract add some orange zest to top or if adding lemon extract add some lemon zest to alter flavor somewhat.

    Instructions

It only takes a few simple steps to make this fudge. You'll be in and out of the kitchen in no time. The overview is below, but the full instructions are in the recipe card at the end of the post.

    Storage

Refrigerator: Store for up to 3 weeks in an air-tight container.

Freezer: Store for up to 3 months in an air-tight, freezer-safe container.

Make Ahead: This fudge is better the longer it chills, so feel free to make it a day or two in advance.

    Tips

    • 2 hours is the minimum chill time. Overnight is better.
    • Be sure you thoroughly mix your almond bark and sweetened condensed milk. You can't overmix it.
    • Always let the fudge mixture cool a bit to ensure your baking chips don't melt.

    FAQ

    Can I double this recipe?

Only double this recipe if you have two pans to use. Fudge is better in small batches because it can set improperly in large amounts.

Do I have to use sweetened condensed milk?

I recommend using sweetened condensed milk for the best flavor and texture. Substitutes never taste as good.

Can I make this recipe head?

Absolutely. This fudge is better the longer it chills, so feel free to make it a day or two in advance.
