    Copycat Buffalo Sauce from McDonald's

This was inspired by my other copycat sauce recipe on this site, and pairs well with this air fryer frozen chicken nuggets or chicken tenders.

    Ingredients

This recipe uses a handful of easy-to-find ingredients you should be able to pick during a quick trip to the store.

    • Frank's® Red-Hot™sauce
    • I Can't Believe It's Not Butter® liquid margarine
    • Dry pectin
    • Unflavored gelatin
    • Corn starch
    • Cayenne pepper
    • Garlic powder

See the recipe card further down on the page for the exact quantities of each ingredient.

    Instructions

This copycat McDonald's buffalo sauce is easy to make in just one step and a few minutes.

Step 1: Mix and Cook the Sauce

Whisk all of the ingredients together in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Use the whisk to smooth out all of the lumps in the sauce while bringing it to a boil.

Once the mixture has started bubbling, remove it from heat and let it cool to room temperature before storing it in a small airtight container or jar in the refrigerator.

Hint: Recycle empty jam and condiment jars to store sauces in the refrigerator. It's a great way to save some money, good for the environment and they're clear so it's easy to see what's inside.
