    Storage

    • Refrigerator: Store leftover air-fried kielbasa in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
    • Freezer: For longer storage, you can freeze the cooked kielbasa slices in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
    • Reheat: To reheat refrigerated kielbasa, place the slices in foil packets or in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for 3-5 minutes, or until they are heated through. For frozen kielbasa, we recommend thawing it in the refrigerator overnight before reheating it in the air fryer at 400°F for 6-8 minutes, or until it is heated through.

    • Prepare and serve the sausage with some Burger King buffalo sauce or this spicy garlic Buffalo Wild Wings Sauce for dipping.

    Recipe Tips

    • Line the Air Fryer Basket: For easy clean up, line the air fryer basket with parchment paper, aluminum foil.
    • Spray With Olive Oil: Give the sliced kielbasa a light spritz of cooking oil or non-stick spray for extra crispiness.
    • Use a Meat Thermometer: A fully cooked kielbasa (Polish smoked sausage) should reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). We recommend using a meat thermometer and checking the internal temperature by inserting the probe into the thickest part of the sausage.

    FAQ

Do I need to preheat the air fryer?

Yes, preheating the air fryer is essential in ensuring that each delicious sausage in this easy air fryer recipe is crispy and cooked evenly.

Can I cook the kielbasa directly from frozen?

I highly recommend that you thaw frozen kielbasa before air frying to ensure even cooking.

Should I cook the kielbasa in batches?

If your air fryer basket is small, you may need to cook the kielbasa smoked sausage in batches. This is the best way to avoid overcrowding and ensure even cooking.
