Recipe FAQs
Blanco tequila is the most common choice because it has a clean, crisp flavor that pairs well with lime and jalapeño. Reposado tequila also works well if you prefer a slightly smoother, more complex taste.
Tajín is a Mexican seasoning made from chili peppers, lime, and salt. It adds a tangy, spicy flavor that perfectly complements the citrus and jalapeño in the margarita.
Use honey, corn syrup, coconut nectar, simple syrup, stevia or maple syrup instead.
Absolutely. Simply multiply all the ingredients by the number of servings and mix them in a pitcher. Add jalapeño slices and let them infuse for about 15-20 minutes before serving, then strain and serve over ice.
