Reheating steak in the air fryer is one of the best ways to enjoy your beef the next day. When you reheat steak in the air fryer, it gets nice and hot without drying out, which is always what we want.

I love steak, but I always feel so much pressure to eat it all at once. Now that I know how to reheat it with this method, I don't have to.

    Reheating Steak in Air Fryer

This recipe was inspired by my air fryer ribeye steak and air fryer porterhouse steak recipe on this site and pairs well with this cheesy ranch twice baked potato recipe. Steak and potatoes are definitely a match made in heaven!

    Ingredients

Ingredients lists don't get any shorter than this and the best part is you likely already have some inside your fridge.

    • Leftover steak
    • Cold butter, sliced
    • Cooking spray

See the recipe card below for exact quantities.

    Instructions

Reheating your steak with this method is just about the easiest thing you'll ever do.

    Step 1: Reheat

Place the steak in your unheated air fryer and add a slice of butter to the top. Cook for 10 minutes total at 350 degrees. Enjoy!

Hint: Always grease your air fryer so nothing sticks.

    Substitutions

Don't have the correct ingredients on hand or want to change something up? Here are some helpful tips for you when you reheat steak in the air fryer.

    • Pork Chops - You can reheat porkchops in the same way as steak.
    • Margarine - If you don't have butter you can use margarine. Be aware that it won't be quite as amazing.

    Variations

Want to personalize this method of reheating steak in the air fryer? Here are some of my tried and true tips for changing up this recipe.

    • Spicy - Add chili pepper flakes to the tops of the steaks for a kick of heat.
    • Add Sliced Onions - directly to top of steaks while they're reheating

    Equipment

You don't need much of anything to reheat your steak in this way.

    • Butter knife
    • Air fryer

    Storage

You can store steak for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.

    Tips

Although this reheating method is so easy it only takes one step, I still have a couple of tips to help you master the process.

    • Look at the amount of leftover steak you have and decide how best to slice it up so you end up with pieces that are as close to the same size as possible to promote even cooking inside your air fryer
    • Allow the steak to reach room temperature before cooking
    • Allowing the steak temperature to rise as the air fryer does will prevent it from becoming chewy or dry
    • Use salted butter for slightly better results
