How to Make This Strawberry Whipped Cream Dessert
I won't bore you with my chatter and get right down the reason you are here. This recipe uses fresh strawberries which I am in love with, especially this time of year. I am ALL OVER fresh fruit whenever I find it.
To start, you will want to puree your strawberries. I used a food processor for this part. Then use an electric mixer to whip the heavy cream and slowly add in the sugar until stiff peaks form. Add about 3 tablespoons of the strawberry puree and mix for an additional minute. Pour ice and milk into a glass and top with the whipped strawberry cream and serve!

Tips for Making Whipped Strawberry Topping
The heavy cream has to be cold, not at room temperature.
Please use heavy cream and not a lighter version. If you use a light version, it's not going to whip up as much.
What would you use this topping on?
Anything that you want! That's what makes this topping so versatile and one of my favorite. You can use it on hot chocolate, iced milk, homemade pie, strawberry cake, and more.
As long as you whip it and make it have peaks, you can use this as a topping for any type of dessert or dish that you want. You can even just use a spoon and eat it as is.
And if you want to know a little secret...once you make it, if you pop it in the fridge for later, it'll firm up a bit and taste like homemade ice cream, too!
When I say that this dessert is versatile, it really, really is!
Can you use frozen strawberries for this strawberry cream recipe?
You can, but why? Fresh strawberries taste so much better and add in so much flavor and taste. Just make certain to wash them well, cut them up and cut off the green tops, and enjoy that sweet, sweet taste.
Can you make this fruit whipped cream recipe using other fruit?
Yep! I like to use blueberries, raspberries, and any other type of fruit that is ripe during the season when I'm making it. This is a simple way to change up the flavor and taste over and over again.
Can you freeze this for later?
You can but there really isn't a need. Since it just takes moments to make, you should be able to whip it up right then and there and easily have it fresh.
If you do have to freeze it, then that's fine but just know that when you unthaw it's not going to have that same whipped texture or look.
Is this a dalgona recipe?
It's similar but it's not. Since this doesn't have any coffee in it, it can't technically be considered a dalgona. Although the method for making this is very similar AND you could easily add this as a topper on your coffee if you wanted.
Is this cream recipe smooth or does it have chunks of strawberry in it?
If you're using a blender, then you shouldn't have any chunks or pieces of strawberries in it. You might notice a little bit of texture from the seeds of the strawberries but just give it a few moments to blend up nicely in the blender.
However, if you want to have more strawberry textures and tastes, then you can pulse it less in the blender and add in that texture.
See how simple this Strawberry Whipped Cream is? It's a super simple recipe that can add a ton of fresh fruit flavor to any recipes and desserts. Once you try this recipe one time, you're going to be hooked on making this dish. It's a simple way to add in the flavor of fresh food with ease.
