    As the weather starts to change, little buds of green appear all over and that means one thing…spring is in the air. That also means it’s time to pull out your slow cooker and start creating spring slow cooker recipes.

    Recipes that will bring those around you down to their knees begging for more! Recipes that will blow the socks off of anyone who tries them.

    And recipes that will take your culinary cooking to the ultimate level. Can’t you just wait to try them??

    What gets celebrated in Spring?

    Spring is a time of growth, celebration and new beginnings. There is a plethora of holidays that get celebrated every spring and that is a definite reason to create spring slow cooker recipes.

    The holidays that get celebrated every spring include but are not limited to: Passover, Easter, Mother’s Day, Cinco De Mayo, National Teacher’s Day, Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Earth Day, Ramadan, Victoria Day, Administrative Professionals Day and even Star Wars Day! All I can say is wow…that’s a lot!

    Slow cooking in the Spring

    Now, while slow cooking in the spring isn’t really different than any other time of year, it is sort of. As the snow melts and the blades of grass start to shoot up, your mind will probably be on other things besides cooking.

    Spring is a time for clearing out the old and bringing in the new. A time to be cleaning the house and starting to garden…who wants to be tied down to slaving away in a hot kitchen for hours? Not me for sure!
