    FAQ

Do you have questions about this dulce de leche fudge recipe? Here are some of the most commonly asked questions about dulce de leche fudge.

    What is dulce de leche?

Dulce de leche is a sweet confection made by heating sugar and milk over low heat for a long period of time to create a thick, caramelized sauce.

Is dulce de leche the same as caramel?

Both caramel and dulce de leche are caramelized mixtures, but while they may taste similar, they're not the same. Caramel is made by simmering a water and sugar mixture, while dulce de leche is made by simmering a milk and sugar mixture.

How do I marble the fudge?

Use long, even strokes, curving back and forth to draw the dulce de leche through the top of the fudge. Don't use a mixing motion or overwork it.
