Slow Cooker Italian Barbecue Pork Chops are amazing and only 5 ingredients total! Serve these with anything and everything!  We love simple and delicious recipes like this.  Doesn't everyone?

Recipes like this one is the main reason why I love my slow cooker.  So little effort to prepare and the reward, hours later, is always better than anticipated.

I usually serve this Slow Cooker Italian Barbecue Pork Chops dish on a bed of rice or mashed potatoes and I just can't help myself!  I just love the sauce or gravy and it is perfect served on either!

I always feel like if dinner is too easy it can't taste great.  That actually sounds odd now that I see it in writing.  Even so, I still really do feel that way.

I remember my grandmother always being in the kitchen either getting a meal ready or cleaning up from the meal that just ended.  Cooking and baking always seemed like a lot of work, she was always busy doing something and everything she made tasted great!

That has got to be why I almost feel guilty enjoying a meal that takes no effort to make like our Slow Cooker Italian Barbecue Pork Chops recipe.  After all these years I finally get it and as always I am grateful for you all listening.

Hopefully, I am not the only one who feels like this but if I am that is ok.  I'm happy to understand that about myself!

I am so excited to hear what you think of this super easy weeknight dinner recipe and what you do differently!  I love hearing what you do to make or change each recipe on this site.  Am I the only one who gets stuck?

Sometimes I have been making a recipe the exact same way for so long that it never occurs to me to make amazing changes to it.  I am truly grateful, especially when someone points out the obvious to me!

Do you have to use apricot jam?

No you can use whatever kind of jam you enjoy! We’ve used raspberry, apple, orange marmalade or blackberry jam and loved the results. Taste the mixture before you add it to slow cooker and decide if it needs more or less of any ingredient. Hope you enjoy this easy recipe as much as we do! All the best. Karin
