    Italian Dressing Mix is something we always have made in our kitchen. It serves so many purposes. We use it to make Italian dressing when we need it for a salad. We use it as a marinade for chicken, pork and vegetables. You can check out our Easy Italian Chicken or Vegetable Marinade. We also use it as a quick an easy addition to make some of our recipes come alive.

    Italian Dressing Mix

    Italian Dressing Mix is perfect to make a quick Italian dressing for salad or a marinade for chicken, pork and vegetables that makes the recipe come alive.

    Equipment

    • Measuring cups and spoons
    • mason jar resealable container or resealable bag will work too
    • salad dressing holder or resealable container

    Ingredients
      

    Mix

    • 2 tblsp garlic salt -
    • 2 tblsp onion powder -
    • 2 tblsp white sugar
    • 4 tblsp oregano, dried
    • 2 teaspoon black pepper, ground
    • ½ teaspoon thyme, dried
    • 2 teaspoon basil, dried (ground or leaves)
    • 2 tblsp parsley, dried
    • ½ teaspoon celery salt
    • 3 tblsp salt -

    Dressing

    • ¼ cup vinegar (cider, red wine, balsamic or white)
    • ⅔ cup olive or another vegetable oil
    • 2 tblsp water -
    • 2 tblsp italian dressing mix

    Instructions
     

    • Mix all ingredients together and store in air-tight container or resealable bag.
    • To prepare dressing, whisk together ¼ cup vinegar of your choice, ⅔ cup vegetable oil of your choice, 2 tablespoons water and 2 tablespoons of the dry mix. Shake well before using.

      You are guys are great I live thus stuff I use it almost everything now. It's a great way to kick dishes up a notch. I can't wait to see what else I can do with this stuff.
