Italian Dressing Mix is something we always have made in our kitchen. It serves so many purposes. We use it to make Italian dressing when we need it for a salad. Italian Dressing Mix
Equipment
- mason jar resealable container or resealable bag will work too
- salad dressing holder or resealable container
Ingredients
Mix
- 2 tblsp garlic salt -
- 2 tblsp onion powder -
- 2 tblsp white sugar
- 4 tblsp oregano, dried
- 2 teaspoon black pepper, ground
- ½ teaspoon thyme, dried
- 2 teaspoon basil, dried (ground or leaves)
- 2 tblsp parsley, dried
- ½ teaspoon celery salt
- 3 tblsp salt -
Dressing
- ¼ cup vinegar (cider, red wine, balsamic or white)
- ⅔ cup olive or another vegetable oil
- 2 tblsp water -
- 2 tblsp italian dressing mix
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and store in air-tight container or resealable bag.
- To prepare dressing, whisk together ¼ cup vinegar of your choice, ⅔ cup vegetable oil of your choice, 2 tablespoons water and 2 tablespoons of the dry mix. Shake well before using.
