This was inspired by my other creamy blue cheese dip recipe on this site, and pairs well with this amazing baked pita chips recipe.
Ingredients
This recipe calls for a few ingredients, but they're all very simple. In fact, you probably have almost all of them in your refrigerator right this second.
- Softened cream cheese
- Dark corn syrup
- Sugar
- Oil
- Vinegar
- Onion flakes
- Lemon juice
- Dry mustard
- Celery seed
- Paprika
- Salt

Instructions
It only takes a few simple steps to make this delicious dip. You'll be in and out of the kitchen in no time flat!
Step 1: Prep
Take out your cream cheese to soften and measure out your ingredients.
Step 2: Blend Cream Cheese
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, syrup, and sugar together until smooth.
Step 3: Add the Oil
Add the oil and blend well.
Step 4: Add the Remaining Ingredients
Add vinegar, onion, lemon juice, dry mustard, celery seed, salt, and paprika, beating until well blended.
Step 5: Chill
Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
Hint: To achieve the best texture, be sure you blend your dip extremely well after each addition.

Ingredients
- 1 brick (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup corn syrup dark will add more color to your dip
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup oil
- ¼ cup vinegar
- ⅓ cup onion flakes
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Get out and measure your ingredients.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl beat cream cheese, syrup and sugar together until smooth.
- Add oil and blend some more.
- Add vinegar and lemon juice.
- Beat until blended.
- Add onion, dry mustard, celery seed, salt, and paprika.
- Beat until well blended. Refrigerate for at least an hour, if not two, before serving.
