We love the neutral flavor that vodka adds to beverages. It adds a nice kick, while enhancing the flavors of almost any drink to which it's added. This Grape Ape shot is a perfect example of how tasty and versatile vodka shots are.

We drew inspiration from the versatility of vodka and the bright pickle flavor of our pickle shot which is perfect for just about any gathering.

    • Limited Ingredients: This shot requires only three ingredients.
    • Easy: All you have to do is shake and pour!
    • Citrusy and Tropical: The orange juice and triple sec give this shot a great citrusy flavor reminiscent of an orange tic tac candy.

    Ingredients

You can find everything you need in about 10 minutes at your grocery store.

The ingredients needed to make a tic tac shot on the table with labels to identify each one.
    • Vodka: Adding orange, vanilla, mango, pineapple, or berry vodka to add another layer of flavor. Use light or coconut rum for more tropical flavor. Gin and tequila for bolder flavor.
    • Triple Sec: Adds citrusy, orange flavor but Cointreau and Grand Marnier will work in a pinch.
    • Orange Juice: Orange juice is always my goto but you can easily enjoy this drink with pineapple juice, mango juice, or lemonade that add a slightly different flavor to the shot.

See the recipe card below for the exact quantities of each ingredient.
