I usually use one can of cream of mushroom and one cream of chicken but you can use any combination you want and the result is always fabulous! Totally tender pork or chicken, every time!
The meat can be easily cut up or shredded and mixed with the sauce as well, if you prefer smaller pieces for serving. The meat turns out so tender, you will have no trouble breaking it up!
This dish can be served with rice, pasta or mashed potatoes or even in a sandwich. Kind of a chunky pulled chicken or pork if you will. My son prefers the sandwich version, full of chunks of pork or chicken, covered in sauce. The way you serve this dish is up to you!

- pork chops or chicken breasts
- onion
- mushrooms
- Italian seasoning
- condensed cream soup
- cream cheese
- ground pepper

How to make Slow Cooker Creamy Italian Pork Chops or Chicken
Pour soups and cream cheese into slow cooker.
While the slow cooker heats up slice your mushrooms and onions.
Using a whisk combine the soups and cream cheese.
Once incorporated add mushrooms and onions.
Stir until coated.
Lay the pork chops or chicken breasts on top.
Season the tops of the pork chops or chicken breasts with pepper and the Italian seasoning.
Spoon enough of the soup mixture over the meat to cover.
Cook.
When done, remove meat, shred if desired and stir the gravy around to mix it well for serving.

Add milk to thin sauce if desired.

4 Ingredient Crockpot Creamy Italian Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 10.5-ounce can cream of chicken soup
- 1 8-ounce block cream cheese, softened
- 2 1.5-ounce Italian dressing powder mix
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken about 3-4 breasts

- your favorite noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice
Instructions
- Make the sauce. In the basin of your crockpot, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and Italian dressing powder until smooth. (It's okay if the cream cheese doesn’t fully incorporate, it will melt when cooked.)
- Add the chicken. Add the chicken and spoon some of the sauce over the top of the breasts so that they are covered.
- Cook. Cover your crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Shred the chicken. Once cooked, use 2 forks or shredding gloves to shred your chicken in the crockpot and mix well to combine it with the sauce.
- Garnish and serve. Garnish with chopped parsley if you’d like and serve warm. This recipe is great over rice, mashed potatoes or cooked pasta.
Notes
What will I need to complete this recipe? You will need the following ingredients:
- boneless skinless chicken breasts - Thighs also work great but you could also use tenderloins or turkey.
- Italian dressing mix powder - Make sure you’re using the powder and not a bottle of premade dressing. If you use bottled dressing, you’ll get an oily soup rather than a rich and creamy chicken dish, or feel free to make your own homemade dry seasoning mix.
- cream cheese - Make sure to leave your cream cheese out to come to room temperature. You want it nice soft and creamy to incorporate well with the other ingredients.
- cream of chicken soup - Store-bought is a huge time saver but if you prefer to use a homemade version, it will also work.
- parsley - This is optional but it adds some freshness and color to the dish.
- crockpot - I used a 6-quart crockpot but an 8-quart would also work.
- spoon - You’ll need a large spoon to slather your chicken with the sauce to keep it moist while it cooks.
- forks or shredding gloves - This is how you’ll shred your chicken.
- You can add ½ cup sour cream for a little tang.
- You can add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes for some spicy heat.
- You can add 1 Tablespoon minced roasted garlic for a deep roasted garlic flavor that will make you do a happy dance.

I'm not the biggest fan of pork but it's cheap to I'm always looking for ways to eat it. This creamy dream is awesome. I live it on a sandwich. Just get some good buns or bread. It's really easy to make and that's what I like. 👍
