These Delicious Glazed Carrots are superb and definitely worth a try!  I get so bored eating carrots the same old way and am always trying to figure out new ways to prepare them.  This is one of our favorites.  The flavors blend perfectly together.

My favorite part of this recipe for Delicious Glazed Carrots is the hint of ginger.  Makes all of the difference in the world and I am not a big ginger fan!

For those of you that prefer minced garlic, you can easily substitute it!  I always add a little extra garlic though when I have done it but then I love garlic!  For this recipe though I do try and use ginger whenever possible!

No matter what main course you are preparing, these Delicious Glazed Carrots will definitely go with it!  I always seem to have carrots around to use up.  My family just loves them and I have served this recipe with just about everything!

These Delicious Glazed Carrots are so darn easy to prepare and are such a nice change.  I have a couple carrot recipes that we make regularly and some vegetable sides with carrots in them.  Here are the links if you want to have a look.

    Notes

    Tips:
    • If using fresh ginger root, cut away some of the peel and finely grate the amount of ginger you need. Store the remaining nob of ginger root wrapped in plastic in your freezer, and pull it out whenever you need it.
    • The 6-8 inch generic carrots we are most familiar with are called Danver carrots. You can use baby carrots or any variety of carrots you like for this recipe. Heirloom carrots are especially nice if you are making this side dish for the holidays.
    • Fresh garlic is best for this recipe. It is best to store any remaining garlic in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where it will last for up to 2 weeks.
